Vivo Y81 Review

Vivo Y81 Specs was officially released in the Philippines last June 2018. A top-notch smartphone that is offered by the Vivo company. It is classified as one of there budget phone that has an affordable market price. The phone has a full-screen view display just like what usually the latest smartphone has. The same front view of the Vivo 9 where the full-screen view display started.

It is a dual Nano SIM card with dual standby mode features. It supports up to 4G LTE network band for data connection. The phone built with full front glass and plastic body. It has a 6.22 inches screen view display with IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. It has a dimension of 155.1 x 75 x 7.8 mm (6.11 x 2.95 x 0.31 in) and weighing 146.5g. It has a display resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels, 19:9 ratio and 270PPi density. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass (unspecified version).

It runs with the UI of Funtouch OS 4.0 with multitouch features. It’s base on the operating system of Android 8.1 Oreo. The processor is powered by 2.0 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6762 Helio P22 and GPU of PowerVR GE8320. It has 3 GB RAM with 32 GB internal memory. It is supported with the expandable external memory via microSD card up to 256 GB storage capacity.

The primary camera lens has the quality of 13 MP f/2.2 with PDAF feature and LED flash. While the secondary lens or the front camera has the quality of 5 MP f/2.2. The additional camera features include Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, and panorama. The video resolution is 1080p@30fps for quality recording. It supported with Loudspeaker and 3.5mm jack as well as Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic.

As for the connectivity packs with specs and features of WiFi (Wi-Fi Direct and hotspot), Bluetooth 5.0 (A2DP, LE), GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS), and micro USB 2.0. It doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner just like others mid-range phone. But it has a sensor features such as Accelerometer, proximity, and compass. The battery is non-removable Li-Po 3260 mAh. It has only one color available for the phone which is black. The official price for the Y81 is about 200 EUR or Php 9,999 for Philippines market price.
