Oppo R15 Pro Review
Along with the release of the Oppo R15, Oppo released also another version of it the Oppo R15 Pro or Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition. Many are thinking why there is no a PLUS version of the R15 when they released another version of it. Oppo may take some break from releasing a PLUS version of the smartphone. But it doesn’t mean that they will not release a PLUS version in future, just a take break and make a change for a bit. A nice market strategy in releasing two new smartphone devices.
Some specs of the two smartphones might similar but there are differences between the two devices. Also, the Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition (Oppo R15 Pro) is more pricey than the Oppo R15.
The Oppo R15 Specs Dream Mirror Edition (Oppo R15 Pro) has a bit bigger dimension compared to the Oppo R15 but they have the same weight and screen size which is the 6.28 inches. It builds also with a Hybrid Dual Nano Sim with AMOLED display and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. A Full Glass Display with a Ceramic body cover material. The device is powered by ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and 2.2GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 660. It has the 6 GB RAM capacity with 128 GB internal memory and can expand using the external memory up to 256 GB via microSD card. The SIM 2 slot will be the slot for the external memory storage.
One of the highlights of the device is having a dual rear camera with the high quality of 16 MP f/1.7 + 20 MP f/1.7 phase detection autofocus and LED Flash. Along with the other features such Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HRD, and panorama this will help to capture great photos easily. While the front camera or the secondary has 20 MP f/2.0 1080p, a good quality for taking selfie pictures. As for the resolution of the video it has 2160p@30fps quality for recording.
The Oppo R15 Specs supports WIFI connection with dual-band features, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and MicroUSB 2.0. It also has a dedicated mic for noise cancellation. The fingerprint scanner is at the back of the device with a dedicated scanner. Another alternative way to unlock the device in a safe way without inputting the password on the screen. As for the batter specs, it has a lesser capacity compared to the Oppo R15. It has only 3400 mAh Li-Po non-removable with a fast charging features.
There are only two color variations available to choose by user: the Ceramic Black and Dream Mirror Red. As we recap the specs of the device, we can consider why it is more pricey than the other one. It had more advantages in many aspects. The official price of the device is 510 EUR or about Php 32, 728.74 (converted to Philippines money).
