LG Q7 Series Review
LG Q7 Series Specs is the newest smartphone of the LG brand under the Q Flagship. Made its debut in the Indian market in May 2018. Rumors are spreading about this Q7 that it will be a vast improvement compared to the last year’s model. Also, many are anticipating that this phone will more affordable over the last model of Q series. Q7 might have similar specs and features of the Q6 model, but LG built it to include more advanced features as there’s a huge possibility of the comparison between the two.
The same with old version model of the Q series, the Q7 has also releasing soon in the market along with its series models such as Q7a and Q7+. This three series Q7, Q7a, and Q7+ have similar on some specs, designs, and size but different also in selected specifications.
The Q7 is expected to be released soon by the month of June 2018. It is a Single / Dual SIM Nano card with a dual standby mode. It has a screen size of 5.5 inches with an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display type. A dimension of 143.8 x 69.3 x 8.4 mm (5.66 x 2.73 x 0.33 in) and weighing 145g. The display resolution of the Q7 is 1080 x 2160 pixels, 18:9 ratio and 439PPi density.
One of the highlight features of the Q7 series smartphone is having an IP68 certified dust/waterproof up to 1.5m for 30 mins and MIL-STD-810G compliant. It is a multitouch smartphone based on the OS version of Android 8.0 Oreo. The processor is possible powered by 1.5 GHz Octa-core or 1.8 GHz Octa-core depends on the series model of Q7. As for the GPU specs, LG doesn’t state any details about it. The RAM and internal memory have differed between the series model. The Q7 and Q7a have 3 GB RAM with 32 GB internal memory built-in while the Q7+ has 4 GB RAM with 64 GB internal memory. Additionally, all the Q7 series model supported with the expandable external memory up to 400 GB storage capacity along with its dedicated slot to use.
In terms of the Camera quality, Q7 series has 16 MP or 13 MP as the primary lens with the phase detection autofocus features and LED Flash. The additional camera features are Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, and panorama. As for the front camera or the secondary lens has the quality of 8 MP or 5 MP depends on the Q7 series model. The video resolution for recording has the quality of 1080p@30fps. It has a loudspeaker feature and 3.5mm jack port for the headset/headphone connectivity. Along with the DTS:X surround sound and a dedicated mic for noise cancellation.
The communication connectivity has WiFi with Wi-Fi Direct and hotspot, Bluetooth 4.2 A2DP, LE, GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS), NFC supported, Stereo FM radio with RDS, and 2.0 USB Type-C 1.0 reversible connector. Q7 series has a fingerprint scanner rear-mounted. It has a dedicated fingerprint scanner located at the back of the device. Other sensors features are an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. The battery is non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh capacity. LG doesn’t state if there is a possibility that Q7 series model supports the fast charging features. The colors available on Q7 series are Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue, and Lavender Violet.
Even the phone is already released on the Indian Market. LG doesn’t mention any official price for the Q7 series. The price might depends on the places it may release for availability.
